Is there any free or next to nothing camping sites near Adelaide?

Charlotte

I'm looking for a really cheap place to camp. Basically just land to camp on it doesn't need any showers or toilets or power, i just need somewhere to camp. Like a national park or something?

Answer
you may wish to try GAWLER caravan park...rent van overnight or pitch a tent...walking distance to Gawler town centre...catch train or bus to city sights or beaches etc.... no free bush camps close to Adelaide...good luck....

what is a good camp ground?

i live in SA Adelaide and want to go camping. We want a place like a national park where you can go anywhere you want to camp e.g beside a river so you can fish and are also allowed to light campfires. we have tents and equipment but could someone run up a list of what you would need for this. (campfire is important cos we don't have portable stove) also not too far from adelaide Please!

Answer
Don't even try to attempt a fire especially in National parks. You could find yourself with huge fines and be arrested. Buy a small one burner cooker from somewhere like Big W or K mart they aren't expensive or go where bar b ques are provided. Ask your local Council or National parks and wild life for advise

try this national park you can fish there.

Answer
Deep Creek conservation park is just over an hour out of Adelaide. That's a nice place to camp.

I want to do as much as I can while I still can. Any crazy cool or unique things you have tried or done.
i have traveled to South Korea and Europe.
I have Unicycled.
Climbed part of mt. Renier in shorts and flip flops in two to three feet of snow.

Answer
Travelled around the World four times
Swam in a waterfall on Fiji
Travelled in a long-tailed boat on a klong in Thailand
Drove into a large herd of wild African elephants in the Kruger Park area
Swam in the Dead Sea and climbed Mount Masada
Ate raw sea urchins on the island of Korcula (now in Croatia - it was Yugoslavia)
Went on a canal trip in St. Petersburg
Had crispy-fried chicken sinews for lunch in Hong Kong
Taken over the controls in a private bi-plane
Went swimming off Butterfly Bay, Kaeo, New Zealand
Stroked a full-grown koala in Adelaide
Hand-fed a full grown male tiger call Bruno - and stroked the blunt end when he was sleepy after his food.
Flown in a helicopter over London
Taken a small aluminium narrow boat right up the River Thames from Limehouse Lock to the upper reaches
Camped in a small tent all over France from Normandy to the Alps
Drank (too much) beer in the beer gardens of Andex monastery in Bavaria
Slept all night on the floor of the airport in Athens !
Fly into Madeira airport every year (among the 10 most dangerous air strips in the World) - been doing that for over 25 years.
Stroked a Sea Otter in Monterey
Flew in a small plane from Queenstown, New Zealand to the Lakes and back
Been in cable cars all over the World
Got lost in fog in the mountains in Cyprus

Is anyone else really mad that Amanda won Age of Love?

Weasley Is

I am so mad!Her looks are so fake and she's so rude!! On the camping trip she went looking for Mark and Jayanna on their date! And then she was waiting for Mark back in his tent! She got really mad a lot of times because "Mark wasn't paying any attention to her" o u poor baby. O I hate her. Anyone else who does post ur comments here.

Answer
It was no surprise to me that Amanda won, although I was hoping against hope that someone else would win. She is indeed plastic looking and very bitchy, although I actually thought Mary and Tessa were bitchier. My favorite of the 20-somethings was Adelaide; I was surprised he got rid of her so fast. Although I would of liked for one of the "older" women to have won, the realist in me knew it probably wouldn't happen.

I'm in Adelaide- Where to go on holiday?

N G

I'm in Adelaide, and my boyfriend and I want to go away for a week, with a car and a tent, to somewhere that has caravan parks or camp grounds with toilets/showers, and some things to do/look at in the area.

We were thinking maybe a few nights in a couple of different places.

It has to be within reasonable driving distance, or, staying a couple of places to get to somewhere (and then of course again to get back).

My boyfriend would like one of those places at least to have a beach nearby.

Any suggestions?

Answer
victor harbor good place for holiday
