A couple of my friends and I (including my boyfriend) want to go camping this Spring Break. However, I do not know where is a good place to go tent camping in, Can someone help. Any advice would help. I tried googling it, but it was just a vast of information.
By the way, we all live in San Diego, California. n_n

where are good camping locations in the san diego area or by the colorado river in arizona?

I want to go camping with my family but I am not familiar with any places in san diego or somewhere near by the colorado river in arizona that i can go camping. I'm looking for a place that's fun,hiking, tents and/or cabin facilities, somewhere where they have rivers or some kind of water. Can someone recommend some really nice place to go camping ?

If you're able to get to Arizona and want a great family friendly trip, I would highly recommend the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. This area offers some of the best views available of the canyon and the Colorado River. Accommodations range from deluxe cabins to primitive tent camping areas.
Growing up, our family spent three summers at the North Rim and I have many happy memories from those trips.
